CEAPS Seminar Series - Season 1 Episode 1

With pleasure we inform that CEAPS - Centre for Economic Analyses of Public Sector functioning in connection with the Department kicked off with a new seminar series - CEAPS Seminar Series - which will host distinguished speakers from around the globe specilizing in topics at the intersection of economics, law, and political science.

In the first episode, which took place on 1.07.2024, Yun-chien Chang (Cornell University) presented on "Why Legal Origins Are Irrelevant to Economic Development and Fail as an Instrumental Variable?". The talk was followed by a discussion among economists, as well as legal scholars historians, and philosophers.
