It is with deep sadness and regret that we received the news of the passing of Prof. Jerzy Wilkin - head of the Department of Political Economy in the years 1996-2014, dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw in the years 1996-1999, an outstanding Polish economist, a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
